The Black Pearl Oyster Bar and Grille sounds fancy but once you step inside you see that this is as laid back as it gets. A small dining area and a full size bar greets you in an unassuming atmosphere.
The food here…is amazing. It’s also plentiful. The shrimp po-boy has the shrimp falling off the huge plate. There are so many shrimp you can’t even see the bun. Other favorites are the fried mushrooms, gumbo, fish tacos and of course…oysters. They are all so good.
The service at Black Pearl is usually outstanding, and the line is long during busy times of the year. They are open for lunch and dinner and won’t disappoint either way.
Try the chargrilled oysters. The oysters Haelen which is topped with crabmeat and bacon is simply unmatched. The food has a Louisiana flair to it and everything is delicious.
The Black Pearl Oyster Bar is open daily from 11am until 10pm, arrive early or expect a long wait on weekends. While there is no kids menu, there are choices that kids will love.
