Fish Tales has one of the most scenic decks on the seawall so you can take a break and stop in for lunch or dinner. Locals aren’t big fans of chain restaurants and this location is under the Landry’s Inc. brand. Regardless the view is great during events or on a breezy summer afternoon.
Fish Tales in Galveston, TX offers shrimp, catfish etouffee as well as ribs and non seafood selections. They also offer a nice selection of desserts.
They are located directly across from Pleasure Pier on the Seawall at 25th Street. When kids are hungry and everyone needs a break from the beach or amusements it makes for a perfect choice.
There is plenty to choose from on the menu for both kids and parents. They have everything from burgers to seafood to soups. Plenty of dessert options too.
You can sit outside right above the busy intersection which can get noisy. If you enjoy the bustle then you’ll love it. Seating fills up fast during special events.
“The food was surprisingly excellent. I assumed it was just there for the seawall view and atmosphere. But the food was Awesome, seriously good. Kinda pricy, we don’t usually spend $20 on a meal but splurged and it was worth it.”
“This was an excellent, amazing restaurant!! They have such a variety of food that almost anyone can find something to eat. It is a little pricey, but appropriate- 3 of us had lunch, alcoholic drinks and an appetizer for $100. However it was ALL very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again. Beautiful views, either inside or outside and such accommodating, helpful staff. Great place for sure.”
“The food was great for the sea wall. The service was excellent! I would recommend it for a nice night out.”
“Nice restaurant overlooking the seawall and the gulf. Had the shrimp special served 4 different ways. All excellent. Really loved the fried coconut and luau shrimp.”
