Fuel In N Out – Galveston West End
A much needed convenience store and gas station has finally opened on the west end, just past the Seawall.
Passersby have watched the building take shape over the past several months. The Chevron signs were put up, letting us all know that we were going to have a new gas station, where there has been a 9 mile gap with no filling stations for years.
The Fuel In N Out is a full-on beach town convenience store. Inside is a Deli with smoothie and soft drink machines. There are also picnic tables on the west side of the building. They sell a decent selection of wines and there is a beer cave with domestic and imported beers ice cold and ready to take to the beach.
Along with all of the usual convenience store fare, you’ll find flip flops and beach clothes, a variety of picnic items, beach toys and accessories, as well as plenty of fishing supplies and frozen bait.
Fuel In N Out is a long anticipated addition to the west end. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whereas the Circle K in Jamaica Beach closes at midnight and Fresco Mart (formerly Hummel’s General Store) closes at 10pm.
