Jolly Jester Jaunt 5K | Galveston Mardi Gras

The Jolly Jester Jaunt 5K is set to take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Galveston’s Downtown Entertainment District, bringing fitness and fun to the heart of the 114th Mardi Gras celebration in Galveston.
This unique 5K kicks off at 11:00 AM at the intersection of 24th and Mechanic Streets, with runners completing four festive loops through the lively district.
Participants can expect vibrant costumes, energetic crowds, and a race experience like no other.
Race registration includes access to festivities, a commemorative festival T-shirt, a participation medal, a Mardi Gras-themed mystery item, and complimentary beverages for participants aged 21 and over.
Beyond the race, the day’s festivities include a lineup of exciting parades, starting with the Mystic Krewe of Aquarius Parade at 12:00 PM, followed by the 14th Annual Zaniest Golf Cart Parade at 1:00 PM and the Mardi Gras! Art Car & Jeep Parade at 3:00 PM. For music fans, Bret Michaels will perform live at 5:30 PM, leading into the spectacular Krewe of Gambrinus Parade at 6:00 PM.
