Miller’s Seawall Grill in Galveston is a local “goto” with a giant menu including huge breakfast all day long, delicious seafood dishes, and fresh-made gumbo. .
Located right on the seawall with beautiful gulf views, this is a local favorite for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just coffee with a dessert.
Miller’s owners Donald Clark and David LeBouef acquired the restaurant in 2002 and then turned it into THE go to place for locals, and visitors too if they are fortunate to hear about it during a visit.
They routinely run specials for lunch and dinner. They also offer a senior discount and have a kids menu.
Miller's Seawall Grill Menu
It’s not JUST seafood!
Miller’s in Galveston offers a full menu all day long which means you can get their scrumptious breakfast any time they are open. Trust me, you won’t be able to eat it all.
Speaking of breakfast, all your traditional favorites are on the menu: omelettes, fresh waffles, french toast that melts in your mouth, pancakes, chicken fried steak (yes for breakfast with biscuits and gravy – go hungry) and steak and eggs.
You should try the Lump Crab Benedict that reviewers rave about or the famous Grilled Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. Both of these are so good!
In the mood for lunch? Plenty to choose there too with amazing freshly prepared burgers, soup, po-boys, sandwiches and gumbo for those rare chilly days in Galveston.
But you also have to stop in for dinner. Again get the chicken fried steak, ribeye or choose from a well rounded seafood selection including shrimp, founder, salmon, crab and oysters.
Don’t forget dessert! Miller’s homemade dessert recipes have won awards so leave room or take some home for later. You won’t regret it.

With a great view, great service and amazing food…Miller’s Seawall Grill in Galveston has it all. They are open seven days a week. Go early on weekend mornings as they are very busy and the wait can be long.
Everything prepared here is made of fresh ingredients. Whether you are here for a lunch date or for a dinner with the fam, our friendly and professional staff can’t wait to serve you. Come on in.
New Ownership, Same Great Management

Miller's Galveston Fire
Some years ago, the restaurant had to close down for several months after a kitchen fire. The owners offered to continue to pay staff while closed down. This is the type of local place you want to support.
Once the seaside Miller’s cafe reopened, it was evident by the long lines: the food and staff were greatly missed.
All of the food is freshly made in house and it shows. The servers are attentive and helpful. This is the kind of place where people start a job and stay for a while.
Miller's Hours
Miller’s amazing staff serves up breakfast all day! Their normal hours of operation are from 8am-8pm daily. Call ahead during a holiday or weather events.
Miller's Reviews
Some Great Miller’s Seawall Grill Reviews from Yelp:
“Not one person in our family of four was disappointed in our food at Miller’s. The chicken fried steak was fantastic (pro tip: get the half order if you are not starving), the grilled chicken had been cooked with some kind of wizardry that made it taste almost like fried chicken, and the au gratin potatoes were a hit. I had shrimp and Gouda grits because this southern girl wanted seafood but couldn’t pass up a chance for grits (especially as they had won some kind of foodie award). They did not disappoint.”
“This place deserves five stars on service alone. Top notch!”
“Definitely worth the wait for a table!!! The menu has a little bit of everything and they serve breakfast all day. The food has always been delicious. The service is amazing and everyone is so nice. They are always busy, but never make you feel rushed.”
