Shrimp ‘N Stuff is very casual and laid back with food so good that visitors come back year after year. There are several locations. This is the original that opened in 1976 and is adored by locals and visitors alike.
The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. You can choose to dine indoors or outside on the tree shaded deck.
Check out their catered options too! Big groups are always welcome but you should call ahead – this place can get very busy.
Discounts are available to military, first responders, seniors 65+, and local students. ID is required for all discounts.

Shrimp ‘N Stuff Restaurant in Galveston offers fresh seafood entrees that are both affordable and delicious. You’ll also enjoy the poboys, scratch-made gumbo with the freshest gulf shrimp. The fried catfish is also a big favorite here.
You can get oysters in season and try out the crab balls that has everyone raving. All of the sauces are house made including tartar, cocktail and the famous remoulade sauce. On the lighter side don’t miss the Shrimp Salad which is fresh and so flavorful. This location is also known for amazing fish tacos.
The menu includes kids’ meals, desserts, salads as well as wine and beer for the grown ups to enjoy with your freshly prepared seafood selections.
Tip:
Shrimp ‘N Stuff has three locations in total and you may be confused to find that all three are very different from each other. The Shrimp ‘N Stuff Downtown location deems itself more of an upscale version, find it at 2506 Avenue H. They also have a food truck located in Jamaica Beach in a convenience store parking lot. These locations offer different food items and service than the original location.
Shrimp N Stuff Restaurant serves up fresh food daily, many locals and visitors to the island say it is among their favorites of all Galveston restaurants, they are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
