The Krewe of Thalasar is a non-profit organization that participates in the Mardi Gras Galveston festivities. Founded in 1986 by a group of Texas A&M University Former Students, it has since grown into a 70+ member Krewe comprised of both Former Students and non-Aggies alike. The Krewe of Thalasar hosts an annual Ball, participates in various parades, and generally lets the good times roll!

The Krewe also holds several socials throughout the year, including a King’s Day Pub Crawl to kick off the Mardi Gras season, and an annual Toob Trip to New Braunfels, TX in September.

1) What does the price include? Mardi Gras Strand Pass and Entrance into the KOT ball which includes food from Gypsy Joynt, open bar, live music by the Joy Birds, balcony access, clean bathrooms, and lots of FUN! *Must purchase before 2/11/2022 for free Strand pass* If you purchase after 2/11, you will have to purchase your own Strand pass. (Strand pass comes in a separate email than the ball ticket from Event brite)

2) What do I wear? Business Casual, Cocktail, Best MG costume (The theme is cult classic movies)

3) How long does the party last? 8 pm – 12 am

4) How do I check in? Show your ID and check in at the door of the party and go upstairs and have fun.

5) Did I hear that there will be live music? Yes, the band Joy Birds will be there!
