Saltwater Grill in Galveston is part of the Galveston Restaurant Group, led by brothers Johnny and Joey Smecca and Danny Hart. This was their first restaurant which opened in 1998 in the busy arts and entertainment district. They pride themselves in creating unique dining concepts that highlight the best the Texas Gulf Coast has to offer.
From The Houston Press:
“Seafood catches change daily but are always reliable. A recent visit hooked tasty versions of grilled snapper, salmon and sea bass. This restaurant could hold its own anywhere. If it were in Houston, in fact, you would never be able to get a table.”
A Google Reviewer:
“Saltwater Grill is fantastic! Rather than waiting in line at a chain restaurant, that had food like any other. Go to this place! Good quality, fantastic service, an entire experience.”
Another Comment:
“Fresh ingredients assembled in delectable dishes. Blackened Redfish Tostada & Coconut Shrimp were outstanding. Trendy decor & great service adds this place as my new favorite restaurant. Well done, chef!”
